Kindergarten Fees
All children enrolled in a funded kindergarten program at participating services are eligible for FREE KINDERGARTEN !
The Victorian Government provides funding through FREE KINDERGARTEN to support children to access a high-quality kindergarten program in the two years before they start school.
FREE KINDERGARTEN supports families to access a funded kindergarten program by:
- Providing a FREE 15-hour program to four-year-old children enrolled in a kindergarten program
- Providing a FREE 5 -to-15-hour program to three-year-old children enrolled in a kindergarten program
Your child can only be funded for a kindergarten place at one service at any one time for each year (Unless your child is assessed as being eligible for an Additional Funded four-year-old-year by your child’s kindergarten teacher).
This includes long day care services offering a funded kindergarten program.
As of 2023, if your child is enrolled to attend one of our Kindergarten programs, Wyndham will receive funding directly from the Victorian Government, so you are not out of pocket (and don’t have to claim the savings back).
If your child will be attending another children’s service that offers a funded kindergarten program (including long day care), you must tell that service we will be claiming funding for your child.
