Resume Help for 15-25 years olds

Do you need help refining your resume, crafting a cover letter or developing interview answers? Book a one-on-one Resume Help session with our Education and Youth librarians.

Sessions run for 1 hour and are available online or in-person. These sessions can be tailored to you and generally cover one of the following depending on your need:

• Writing a resume
• Drafting cover letters
• How to search and apply for jobs
• Tips for answering interview questions

Please only book one session. Any additional sessions booked will be cancelled. You can discuss during your first session with the librarian if it is suitable to book a second session.

Please plan ahead and respond to emails leading up to your session. After you make your booking, Librarians will request details from you regarding your session to best help you. Responding to emails is an important and common skill required in the workforce.

Also note, our Education and Youth Librarians are not career counsellors, but we can provide tips and tricks for your next job application. Additional information on finding work can be found here.
