In Wyndham we have clubs and organisations who specifically offer activities and programs for people with disability. We also have clubs that aim to be inclusive, including participants in mainstream activities where modifications are possible.
Wyndham City are working with the award winning Get Skilled Access Sport4All program. This program works with sports clubs and schools to provide inclusive and accessible sporting opportunities for anyone with a disability either as a player, coach, referee, volunteer or committee member within Wyndham. The three step program includes a questionnaire to identify areas to work on, online learning and completing an Action plan.
Any Wyndham club or school who would like to get involved is encouraged to contact Kylie (Disability Inclusion Program Coordinator) on kylie.bozanic@wyndham.vic.gov.au

"Our staff who completed the online learning modules found them easy to access and very informative. The content was engaging and broken up into manageable modules. The resources that accompany the module are excellent and perfect for referring back to when needed. I would recommend this online learning to all staff working within schools, not just teachers of Sport & Physical Education."
