Council Adopted Strategies and Plans

Council adopted strategies and plans support the implementation the Council Plan, by providing additional strategic direction to communicate Council’s commitments towards addressing a specific topic, issue, situation or opportunity; and/or as a requirement of legislation. 

They are an important part of the Integrated Strategic Planning and Reporting framework that supports the governance and drives the direction of Council alongside Council high level strategic documents including the LTFP, Asset Plan, and the Wyndham Plan – which all work towards achieving the priorities of the Community Vision.

A range of strategies and plans support Council’s application of the Wyndham Planning Scheme.

Progress Reporting

Progress against these strategies and plans are reported quarterly via the Quarterly Community Report . Annual Progress reports are also available outlining the work completed by Council against commitment’s made through these strategies and plans. 

Partner Council Strategies and Plans

Wyndham City Council is a key stakeholder in the following strategies and plans, and has committed to actions within these strategies and plans, however Wyndham City Council is not the sole organisation responsible for implementation or deliverable outcomes.

 

 

Integrated Strategic Planning and Reporting Framework

The Integrated Strategic Planning and Reporting Framework (ISPRF) supports the implementation of good governance through the preparation and ongoing monitoring and review of the Council’s high-level strategies and plans. The framework ensures that the Wyndham Community Vision informs the: 

1. The strategic direction of its Long-Term Financial Plan 

2. The allocation of resourcing for the building, upgrading and maintenance of its assets as presented in its 10-year Asset Plan 

3. The strategic areas and objectives of its four-year Council / Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 

4. The allocation of resources in its Annual Plan and Budget The framework also commits the Council to a continuous cycle of reporting and review to ensure it is delivering the best possible outcomes for the community.
