About the artist
I dream in RGB , aka Andrea Draper (she/her) is an Interdisciplinary artist that explores dynamic collages as moving image, alongside other digital and hand-rendered practices. Andrea embraces a digital weaving of image manipulation, hand-rendered elements, patterning, and typography, to fuse visual art with graphic design.

The artist often investigates cultural identity, including her Burmese ethnicity, a childhood in London’s East End and a later upbringing in Melbourne’s outer suburbia. This background inspires dialogues of diaspora, remixes of pop culture, and contemporary interpretations of her multifaceted lived experiences.

Andrea is also an enthusiastic educator and teaches painting, printmaking, drawing and graphic design at Educational Institutes in Melbourne.
