Wyndham’s Youth Resource Centre has reached a 20 year milestone and residents are invited to help celebrate the anniversary.
The Youth Resource Centre’s 20th Anniversary Youth Festival will run from 4pm to 8pm on the last Friday of the School Holidays, 21 April 2023 at 86 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing.
Wyndham City Mayor Cr Susan McIntyre said: “Come and join us celebrate 20 years of the Youth Resource Centre.”
“This special occasion will be celebrated with a range of free activities and events and something for everyone.”
“The YRC will be a buzz of activity with a range of free interactive events, a fabulous cultural dancing competition, performers, a DJ spinning tunes, skate and BMX demos, dunk tank, amusement rides, craft activities, cake decorating and a free sausage sizzle BBQ.”
The Youth Festival will have both free and paid food options at the event, including a range of food trucks.
“Wyndham’s Street Surfer Bus will also be there so if you haven’t seen it come and have a look,” Cr McIntyre said.
“This a great chance to enjoy the festivities, connect with your community and see what the Youth Resource Centre has on offer.”
