Logistics Award
The Logistics category is open to any Wyndham business involved in transport, distribution, warehousing or storage.
Manufacture Award
The Manufacture category is open to any Wyndham business involved in any manufacturing process including recycling and food processing.
Personal Services Award
The Personal Services category is open to any Wyndham business offering personal services to consumers including those relating to health, wellbeing, lifestyle and personal care.
Professional Services Award
The Professional Services category is open to any Wyndham business that offers professional services to business and or consumers including those relating to finance, insurance, information technology, administration, business services and training.
Retail Award
The Retail category is open to any Wyndham business that sells commodities directly to the consumer.
Tourism & Hospitality Award
The Tourism and Hospitality category is open to any Wyndham business involved in hospitality and the tourism industry. It includes food and beverage, attractions, accommodation, events and other experiences.
Trade And Other Services Award
The Trade and Other Services category is open to any Wyndham business that offers trade or other services to industry or consumers.
New & Emerging Award
The New and Emerging category is open to any Wyndham business irrespective of size or sector that commenced trading after 30 June 2014.
Home Based Business Award
The Home Based Business award is open to any registered Wyndham business whose primary office is in the business owner’s home.
Excellence Category Awards
Innovation Award
The Innovation category is open to any business irrespective of size or sector, including both new and emerging and established businesses.
The judges will be looking for evidence of the development and/or introduction of an innovative product, process, service or business method.
*An additional section of the entry form (Section B) is required to be completed to be eligible for this award - refer to entry form.
Sustainability Award
The Sustainability category is open to any Wyndham organisation irrespective of size or sector, including new, emerging and established businesses.
The judges will be looking for evidence of the utilisation, development and/or introduction of any processes that address energy efficiency and/or environmental sustainability.
*An additional section of the entry form (Section C) is required to be completed to be eligible for this award - refer to entry form.
Business Person Of The Year
The Business Person of the Year category is open to any person aged 30 years or older, on 1 January 2017, who has worked in the Wyndham Business Community for a minimum of 5 years.
*Entries for this award must be completed by someone other than the nominated person.
Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award
The Young Entrepreneur of the Year award is open to any person 18 years to 30 years of age on 1 January 2017 who has worked in the Wyndham business community for a minimum of 2 years.
*Entries for this award must be completed by someone other than the nominated person.
Mayoral Award
Chosen by the Mayor of the City of Wyndham, all entries submitted are eligible for this award.
Business Of The Year
Business of the Year is determined by the entire judging panel from the category winners.
