Are you a parent looking for new ideas on settling your child?

Wyndham City Council’s Child Family Health and Well-being Team are excited to announce that they are now offering a new FREE Sleep and Settling Program

Learn about how your baby’s sleep changes over time and tips and strategies on how to settle your baby, as they grow and change.

Now that we have your interest, please click the age group and to book into one of our Sleep and Settling Sessions.

Babies - 0-12 month

Sleep and Settling

Session will cover

  • Understanding what is a normal amount of sleep
  • Tired signs and sleep patterns
  • Settling Techniques
  • Information on referral for further support

Each information session will run for an hour and a half and be conducted by a Maternal & Child Health Nurse and Child & Family Resource Officer

Starting in May we will be running Online evening session & Online Saturday morning sessions.

To suit the needs of the families we are running sessions at various locations Please select the location below to book your session. Spaces are limited due to COVID policies and building capacities.

Online Session

Toddlers – 1-2 Years

Sleep and Settling

Session will cover

  • Understanding what is a normal amount of sleep
  • Ways to encourage your toddler to develop good sleep habits.
  • Settling strategies to improve challenging toddler behaviours and improve sleep
  • Information on referral for future support
