Wyndham City’s annual WYNnovation is reimagined and this year’s theme is the festival of human connection. Events will be held over a week across a number of locations in Wyndham which showcase some of our key activity centres.

Wyndham City Mayor Cr Jennie Barrera said: “Now in its seventh year, WYNnovation offers businesses an innovative way to connect, learn, discover and network with other businesses and collaborate in the age of technology with some of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs, innovators and diverse minds right here in Wyndham.”

The 2024 program takes place in May and includes a suite of day and night-time events across Wyndham including an immersive Masterclass, Summit, Summit Networking evening and the Grand Finale Pitch competition. Tickets go on sale Monday 18 March 2024 with early bird offers available until 12 April.” said Cr Barrera

Wyndham City’s Future Focused Economy portfolio holder, Cr Mia Shaw, said: “This year’s WYNnovation focuses on human connection and businesses will have the opportunity to untap possibilities of learning, inspiration and growth from the fantastic program focussing on innovation, collaboration and inclusivity.”

“With thought provoking ideas to challenge businesses to think outside the box and reach the next level, the WYNnovation 2024 program is not to be missed. These curated experiences will spark new conversations, connections and opportunities.” said Cr Shaw.

The week’s program kicks off with a unique Masterclass - Unlock your leadership confidence - on Tuesday 14 May with two half-day sessions at 9am to 2pm and 1pm to 6pm at the National Equestrian Centre. This experiential Masterclass features the local business EQ Leaders, a Wyndham Business Awards 2023 winner, that designs equine-assisted professional development programs for business leaders.

Re-imagine your story, business and our city is the focus of the Summit on Thursday 16 May from 9am to 3pm at Encore Events Centre. Featuring three high profile thought leaders led by award-winning speaker, experience creator and MC, Mykel Dixon & Band, exclusive keynotes from diversity advocate and author Antoinette Lattouf, entrepreneur and urbanist Barrie Barton who will share forward-thinking insights on the intricate relationship between people, place, and technology.

After an intense thought provoking day, the Summit Networking event in the evening at Corked Werribee is sure to be an interactive and fun night on Thursday16 May. The evening’s event is an adjoining part of the days Summit and included in the Summit ticket.

The 2024 program will culminate in the Pitch Grand Finale at Lancemore Mansion Hotel on Friday 17 May where Pitch competition finalists share their groundbreaking ideas on how we might future-proof our growing Wyndham community. In partnership with The Startup Network and Wyndham’s SPARK Innovation Hub, the winning ideas will share in a prize pool of more than $38,000, the largest in WYNnovation history.

We’re inviting entrepreneurs, businesses and innovators to enter the Pitch competition and attend an information session at the Holiday Inn or online at 11am on Tuesday 19 March. Entries open on Monday 18 March 2024.
