More people are connecting with Wyndham City to share their feedback on community consultations, with subscribers to The Loop reaching 10,000 this month.

The Loop is Wyndham City’s online engagement space and allows community members to provide feedback on important projects from home or while on the move via their own electronic device.

Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Jennie Barrera said subscribers can join discussions and help shape projects they are interested in.

“We have a number of consultations from strategies about how we deliver arts programming in Wyndham City to voting for the name of a community centre,” she said.

“It’s great that residents understand that their feedback shapes our community.”

“The more representation we have from our diverse and vibrant community the better, so we continually invite those who live, work and play in Wyndham to subscribe to The Loop.”

“Signing up is easy, subscribers are asked to answer a few questions and they will then receive alerts for projects and content that match their interest.”

“We’re excited to have reached this milestone and to have launched the ‘We speak your language’ page on The Loop, which explains what community engagement is and how to get involved in five popular languages spoken in Wyndham.”

“This includes Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Karen, Hindi and Dinka and Bari (South Sudanese).”
