Friends of Werribee Park

Friends of Werribee Park are a not for profit group of volunteers who assist Parks Victoria with the maintenance of the Mansion grounds and formal grounds as well as various out buildings and original carriages within the Werribee Park precinct.

Volunteers also dress in clothing appropriate to 1877 offering visitors a glimpse into the how the Chirnside family and their servants lived and adjusted to their new surroundings in Australia.

FOWP also assist Parks Victoria with activities within the Mansion grounds, such as Heritage Days, the Cadbury Easter egg hunt, Children's Picnic, and various functions run by Wyndham Council.

If you have a passion for gardening and want to learn from trained horticulturists or a desire to walk the halls and rooms of the grand mansion as the Chirnside's did in 1877 thus creating a memorable experience for visitors to the park then please join our family and become part of history.
