When: Saturday 5, 12 and 19 July (10am to 12pm)

The course is for the three Saturdays of the school holidays at Wyndham Park Community Shed.

  • The first week we learn about textile waste problem, trends, darts and silhouettes. We have a small clothes swap and start to design around our outfits or fabric and start sketching ideas.
  • The next week we ‘model’- manipulate the garments and get creative making those designs become reality and thinking further as we create with the fabrics. We also learn to use a sewing machine.
  • The third week finalising our made-up designs and have a mini fashion show between us.
  • There will be homework between each week.

All materials included and cost only $147 for the three weeks.  A great opportunity to learn new skills, learn fashion design and taste the appetite for fashion design and up cycling.
