Josh Deane's Mob Only Art Workshop - JXSH MVIR Exhibition | Wyndham City

Join award-winning artist Josh Deane (Palawa) for this Mob Only workshop on Saturday 19 July, exploring Josh Muir's exhibition "JXSH MVIR: Forever I Live" at Wyndham Art Gallery.

In this culturally safe space, First Nations participants will create self-portraits using templates originally developed by Josh Muir himself. Josh Deane will guide participants through an exploration of symbolic language, colour, and identity, sharing his personal reflections on Muir's influence and significance.

All art materials are provided, along with light catering. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event exclusively for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community members, but bookings are essential as places are limited.
