The Walk for Truth is an initiative of Commissioner Lovett’s, a 400-kilometer journey led by to amplify the truths and lessons learned from Victoria's formal truth-telling process, Yoorrook.
Starting on Sunday 25 May on Gunditjmara Country at Portland, the Walk will finish at Parliament House on Wednesday 18 June.
Commissioner Lovett will arrive in Wyndham on Friday 13 June and finish at Wyndham Vale South ovals around 5pm.
On Saturday 14 June Commissioner Lovett will have a rest day in Werribee where we will welcome him to a community event with Yoorrook at Wunggurrwil Dhurrung Centre from 12pm-2pm. Event details below.
On Sunday 15 June he will walk from Werribee to Footscray along the Federation trail.
