Dance Off

Call out for cultural dance groups in Wyndham!

Entries are now open for Wyndham Youth Services ‘Dance Off!’, a cultural dance competition showcasing amazing local talent. 

We are excited to announce that this year’s Dance Off! will be held at the Wyndham Cultural Centre.

 Categories:

• Mini (All performers are aged 0-12 years)
• Teen (All performers are aged 0-17 years)
• Open (All performers are aged 0-25 years)

A maximum of 12 groups per category will be accepted. Cultural groups and schools can register for multiple age categories, however individuals cannot perform in more than one category.  Registrations will be accepted on a ‘first come first served’ basis.  There will be no waiting list once all places have been filled. 

Eligibility:

• be a cultural dance group that is either based in Wyndham or consist of performers who live in Western Suburbs
• consist of a maximum of 20 performers
• meet the age eligibility requirements for the category being entered

Prizes:

• Winners $750 (Awarded in each category)
• Runners Up $300 (Awarded in each category)
• Choreography Award $100 (Awarded in each category)
• Trophies and medals will also be given out.

Further Details

Routine duration should be 3minutes in length, with time allowances given between 2.5 minutes - 3.5 minutes. Music must not run longer than 3.5 minutes. Music, lyrics and movements must be family friendly. Groups will need to send their music to organisers by 19th September 2025.
