One Tree Defence Childcare Unit Williams acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the land we live, work and play on, the people of the Kulin Nation.

One Tree Defence Childcare Unit Williams is dedicated to promoting children's rights and working as co-learners alongside children. We believe that children are capable and competent individuals who have the right to participate in their own learning and development. Our educators are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace.

We recognise that each child is unique and has their own strengths, interests, and learning styles. Our educators work closely with families to develop individualised learning plans that are tailored to each child's needs and abilities. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process, and we provide them with the tools and resources they need to explore and discover the world around them.

As co-learners, our educators work alongside children to support their learning and development. We encourage children to ask questions, take risks, and challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Our educators provide guidance and support as children explore new ideas and concepts, and we celebrate their successes and achievements.

At our service, we value children's rights and strive to create a culture of inclusivity where everyone is welcome and respected. We believe that every child has the right to be heard, to be treated with respect and dignity, and to participate in decisions that affect their lives. Our educators work closely with families to ensure that each child's unique needs and abilities are respected and supported, and ensure their voices, thoughts, ideas and inputs are acknowledged and visible at the service.

We are committed to implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to ensure that each child receives the best possible care and education. Our service is a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
