Starting secondary school can be anxiety provoking not only for young people but also for parents. It is a big milestone in a young person’s life and families play an important role in supporting young people to manage this transition. This session will give you some ideas about how you will support your child and handle the normal ups and downs.

The talk will touch on:

  • Manging time, tasks, and academic pressure
  • Peer pressure and fitting in in high school
  • Physical and emotional wellbeing and their importance

There will be approximately 45 minutes of content from Drummond Street Services, and 15 minutes of questions and discussions afterwards.

You are welcome to attend in person or online. Book a ticket/s and select your attendance option through the booking link.

Books and colouring will be available to any children in attendance.
