Wyndham Waste Watchers - Halve your waste at home

We’re looking for 30 households in Wyndham who are ready to reduce their household waste and rubbish by joining our free Waste Watchers waste reduction program.
 

This beginner-friendly program is perfect if you’re new to composting or worm farms. You’ll learn how to:

• Reduce waste at home
• Recycle correctly
• Use Wyndham’s waste services
• Set up and maintain a successful worm farm or compost system
   

Reduce your food waste at home with worm farming & composting 🪱🌱
Participants will receive a FREE worm farm or compost bin (Limited to one per household)

 

To take part, participants must:

• Attend both sessions
• Complete a short survey before and after the program
• Complete 3 easy weekly challenges at home to show commitment to reducing waste and recycling right
   

Workshop details

Session 1 – In person

Session 2 – Online follow-up
🗓️ Wednesday 15 April
⏰ 6:30pm – 7:30pm

This follow-up session to troubleshoot issues, and get support with your new worm farm or compost bin.

Places are limited

• One ticket per household (ticket admits up to 2 people)
• Program available only to Wyndham households who have not participated previously
• Once sold out, a waitlist will apply and cancelled tickets will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
