Sing and play, listen to stories, and socialise with children and parents at Baby Time, Rhyme Time, Story Time, Family Fun Club and bilingual programs in Term 4 from Monday 2 February to Thursday 2 April 2026.

Baby Time
Join us for 30-minute sessions including songs, rhymes, and finger plays to encourage interaction with your baby in a fun environment with other parents. Stay for play after the program. To attend you must have a baby aged 12 months or younger. Older siblings are welcome to attend but must sit with parent/carer.

Rhyme Time
Join us for 30-minute sessions including stories, songs, actions, and rhymes designed to help develop your child’s early language, literacy and numeracy skills, body awareness, motor skills, and imagination through rhymes, music, and books. To attend this session, you must have a child aged 1-5 years.

Rhyme Time - Point Cook Library
Join us to develop your child's language, body awareness, motor skills, and imagination through rhymes, music, and books. To attend this session, you must have a child aged 1 - 5 years.
Rhyme Time - Werribee Library
Rhyme Time is an early years' session aimed at developing your child's language, body awareness, motor skills, and imagination with songs, rhymes, and music. For children aged 1 - 5 years.
Chat and Play
Play with your baby and socialise with other parents in a relaxed environment and get some reading tips from your local librarian. Come any time between 2pm and 3:30pm. Some toys, baby books and quiet music will be provided. We recommend that you bring a soft blanket or mat for your baby to lie on. This session is for those with babies who are not yet walking. No bookings required, however spaces are limited.

Rhyme Time with the Pop up Library
Join us for a 30-minute Rhyme Time session to develop your child's language, body awareness, motor skills, and imagination through rhymes, music, and books. To attend this session, you must have a child aged 0 - 5 years. Siblings are welcome. No bookings required. After the session, sign up for a Free Library Membership, browse, borrow and return books from our Pop-Up Library Van.

Family Fun Club
Come along with your family to do different activities like puzzles, colouring, games and building together. This program is suitable for families with children aged 3-12. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent / carer when using the library and attending library programs.
