Open up a new world

Welcome parents, caregivers and educators!

This page provides information and links for the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge for Early Childhood, the books available at the library and Little Reader Photo Share competition.

Information about the challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge runs every year. Children in Early Childhood are encouraged to read 40 books during the year, to establish a love of reading from a young age. Children can read books by themselves or be read to by someone else such as family member, carer or friend.

For further information on the challenge, including how to register, visit the Premiers Reading Challenge website.
