Get out on the track and learn the skills of motorcross at Wyndham City’s Lawrie Emmins Reserve Motorcross Track in Laverton North.
Managed by City MX Ride Park, the motorcross tracks suit different skill levels and is one of the closest tracks to Melbourne. It gives locals and visitors the thrill of experiencing dirt bike riding in a safe, supervised environment.
You can bring your own motorcross bike and book in for a day pass or coaching session, or hire bikes onsite, with hire bookings recommended to avoid disappointment.
The facility includes three tracks from beginner to intermediate level, accessible toilets and free car parking, with a range of come and try experiences, group booking options and school holiday programs throughout the year.
Beginners
Those new to the sport start out safely on a beginner track, where speeds are restricted and riders have the benefit of learning the basics from a track expert.
Motocross bikes can be hired for $50 for half an hour, visitors can book on the day if bikes are available.
Intermediate
If you bring your own bike, you can have unlimited use of the track for the day at the following prices:
