Wyndham's Building Blocks Community Leadership Program has been delivered in Wyndham since 2014. Designed to support the objectives of both the Wyndham City Plan and Wyndham 2050 Community Vision, as well as other Council strategies, the program provides an opportunity for eligible people who live, work, study, volunteer or regularly recreate in Wyndham to build and strengthen their community leadership and participation skills.
The program aims to support individuals to contribute towards Wyndham as a diverse, active, well supported and connected community, with strong participation in local and municipal community life.
Building Blocks is a free, fully subsidised leadership program for people aged 18 years and over who live, work, study, volunteer or regularly recreate in Wyndham. Through interactive workshops, practical learning and collaborative projects, participants develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to become active community leaders and make a positive contribution within their communities.
Participation is open to people aged 18 years and over who live, work, study, volunteer or regularly recreate in Wyndham. Eligibility criteria and a selection process apply.
