Between 2021 and 2024, Wyndham City, in partnership with the Victorian Government and the Tarneit Suburban Revitalisation Board, delivered the Meet Me in Tarneit program — activating public spaces, fostering stronger community connections, and supporting local economic growth. One outcome of this program was Penrose Place, an open-air event space where the community can host markets, events, and more.
