Native gardens play an important role in our cities for both humans and people. Join author and horticulturist AB Bishop as she talks about growing native plants, creating habitat, and future-proof our gardens.

AB BISHOP
AB is a horticulturist, conservationist, and freelance journalist, writing regularly for ABC Gardening Australia magazine and The Age newspaper. She is one of four hosts, on Melbourne's 3CR Community Radio Gardening Program and lives in an environmental living zone where native fauna and flora is protected.
AB’s first solo book, Habitat: A practical guide to creating a wildlife-friendly Australian garden, was Australia’s best-selling gardening book for 2018.

*Participants will have the opportunity to take native tube stock plants home to plant in their garden.
