In July, Multicultural Women Victoria Inc (MWV) launched a new project, Preserving Migrant and Refugee Women's Traditional Knowledge 2025.
LEVEL UP is series of contemporary community gallery spaces spread across Wyndham. These spaces have been developed to provide emerging artists with an opportunity to showcase their work and support their transition into professional practice.
KATHA – The Community Quilt is a long term project where women from diverse backgrounds in Wyndham will meet at the Old Shire Offices, Watton St Werribee to contribute to the stitching of this community quilt.
Since the start of 2020, Wyndham City Arts & Culture have been working with the Wunder Gym mentor & exhibiting program virtually, online to deliver development opportunities to our Creative community.
Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
