If your group hire costs are higher than the $4,000 maximum?
Your group must pay the extra amount. Community centre staff can discuss options to lower costs, such as reduce the number of hours, rooms, or frequency of bookings, or:
- Your group can consider other sources of funding, e.g., a membership cost, fundraising or applying for a different grant
- Your group can pay for additional hours above $4,000, the usual hire fees apply
The subsidy is a fixed amount, if room hire prices increase, the group must cover extra costs.
Subsidy applications will be accepted at any time until funding is exhausted for the calendar year.
