In recognition of the United Nations International Women’s Day 2026 theme — Balancing the Scales this signature event brings together local leaders, innovators, business owners and emerging entrepreneurs who are driving meaningful change across industries and communities.

Maung Hnin Thwe is the founder of Comfort Care and Community Services, a thriving Wyndham-based business delivering culturally responsive NDIS and aged care services. 

A former refugee herself, Maung draws deeply on lived experience to create a service model rooted in compassion, inclusion and community connection, and her leadership is values-driven and grounded in social justice. 

Beyond care delivery, she has made it a mission to uplift others – especially women and young people from marginalised backgrounds – through employment, mentorship, and purposeful community engagement.

Are alcoholic drinks available? 

Whilst tickets do not include alcoholic beverages, a cash bar is available at the venue for guests to make purchases. 

What is the dress code? 

Smart elegant dress for a whimsical garden setting 

Is there parking on site? 

Yes, FREE parking is available on site. Parking however is limited and we do encourage car-pooling where possible. 

Can you cater for dietary requirements? 

We endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements. Please ensure you have noted any requirements in your registration to ensure we can communicate this with the venue. 

Is the venue accessible? 

Yes, the venue is accessible. Please note this in your registration so our team can best assist you with your event experience. 

Is there time to network during the event? 

Yes absolutely, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to network at the event both upon arrival and following formalities. 

Is there a meet and greet with speakers? 

Yes, all guest speakers will be available for photos and meet and greet following formalities. 

 Can guests attend that aren’t local to Wyndham? 

Yes, this event is a public ticketed event everyone is welcome to attend.
