Walk + Talk with artist Jenny Rütsch

Join Jenny Rütsch for an artist Walk + Talk at Wyndham Harbour waterfront as she shares her practice and experiences making paper from native grasses and plants while an artist in residence. Jenny experimented with local fibres to develop paper and small vessels. The talk will be followed by a stroll along the waterfront with Rebecca (Wyndham Environmental Education Officer) to look at the types of natural materials Jenny used to make her artworks whilst exploring the importance of Wyndham’s local flora and fauna. 

Jenny was an artist in resident as part of the Create [SPACE] program in 2025. Create [SPACE] is an artist-in-residence program designed to provide temporary spaces for local artists in Wyndham venues. The residences are for artists to develop work, experiment and expand on their practice. In 2026, the program will be in its third year. 

This event is designed for 18+ participants.
