If you love film or storytelling, take part in our Short Film Showcase!
Create a 3-5 minute film based on what community means to you, either creating it solo or with friends. After completion, you can submit the short film via the instructions below!
The entries that convey the theme will be screened at our Short Film Showcase in May 2026.
Entries MUST be made entirely by young people aged 13-18 only. Terms and Conditions apply, please click here.
Instructions to submit:
- Finalise your short film and save it to a laptop or computer.
- Create a OneDrive account via the instructions.
- Open the file in OneDrive and click Share or More OneDrive sharing options > Invite people.
- Enter the email address sharedlensshowcase@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
- Choose the permission level: Can edit.
- Click Send.
- Open the form attached here.
- Complete the form.
- Submit the form.
- Done!
The entries which best display a creative use of sound, film technique, story line, acting and best showcase of the theme will be commended with a personalised certificate.
