In Wyndham we have clubs and organisations who specifically offer activities and programs for people with disabilities. We also have clubs that aim to be inclusive, including participants in mainstream activities where modifications are possible. In 2023 we will be working to help clubs on their journey to becoming more inclusive.

ASD Academy - Football sessions for kids with Autism

  • ASD Academy run by Hoppers Crossing Soccer Club with KS Foundation
  • Runs termtime on Saturdays at 11am

Werribee All Abilities Basketball Club

  • Programs include all abilities: Tuesdays after school/ evening, termtime, age 5 years upwards
  • Walking Basketball: Thursdays 1pm
  • Wheelchair Basketball Come and Trys: Sundays 7.30pm (Nov/ Dec 2022)
  • Werribee All Abilities welcomes anyone who would like to help out with sessions and will support people to develop their skills

Werribee Gymnastics Club – Gymnastics sessions for kids with ASD/ neurodiversity

  • PlayGym for 2 to 5year olds (Tuesday 9.15am)
  • Sensory Stepping Stones for 6 to 12 year olds (Sunday mornings termtime)

  • Community AFL team supporting young people and adults aged 16 years plus with additional needs through AFL.

AAA Play is an online listing that connects people with disabilities to sport and recreation activities. Search by sport or activity, age, region and/ or distance from postcode.

AAA Play is also a free information and referral service to assist people of all ages with a disability to become involved in sport and active recreation.

With personal assistance from AAA Play, you can discover a new sporting challenge.
