Established in 2015, the Wyndham Art Prize has expanded to become one of Australia’s largest art awards, distinguished by the high number of artists shortlisted each year.

This year’s submissions reveal a notable focus on materiality, with artists working across an impressive range of textures and mediums. Painting, sculpture and photography feature strongly, complemented by quieter yet equally compelling works in textiles, drawing and installation.
