Privacy Statement

Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council for the purpose of facilitating the administration of your vote for the People’s Choice award of FLAVOURS OF THE STREET PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION. Your information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for delivery of services and information. By registering your details, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). For further information about how your personal information is handled, please visit Council’s Privacy Policy at www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/privacy-policy.

  1. By casting a vote for the People’s Choice Award in the Flavours of the Street Photography Competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. If your vote does not comply with these terms and conditions, it is not valid and will not be accepted.
     
  2. If you are aged under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s consent to vote.
     
  3. To cast a vote, you must :
    a) visit the Flavours of the Street Photography Competition exhibition at Saltwater Community Centre and either scan the QR code and submit your properly completed entry form online or submit your properly completed hard copy entry form in person between 9:00 am on 26 September 2025 and 5:00 pm on 20 November 2025.

Votes received outside of these periods will not be accepted.

  1. Only one vote per person will be accepted.
     
  2. The entrant whose photograph receives the highest number of valid votes during the voting period will be awarded the People’s Choice Award in the FLAVOURS OF THE STREET PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION.
     
  3. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the exhibition’s closing event along with the Judges Choice award at Saltwater Community Centre between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on 22 November and will subsequently be published in a Council media release and announced on Council’s website and social media pages.
     
  4. Council, acting in its entire discretion, may exclude and disqualify votes where it reasonably believes that:

    a) the voting process has been tampered or interfered with:

    b) the vote has not been legitimately made; or 

    c) the vote is otherwise invalid.

  5. Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt votes.
     
  6. Council reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without notice to you.
     
  7. Council’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
