Session 1: Public Art 101 – Tuesday 11 November (6.30pm to 8.30pm)

A comprehensive introduction to public art. Learn how projects are scoped, developed and delivered, and gain insight into working beyond the studio and within the public realm.
Session 2: Public Art Immersive - Tuesday 25 November (6.30pm to 8.30pm)
Guest Speaker: Alex Knox
Build on your foundation with practical strategies to strengthen EOIs, work with fabricators and engineers, and navigate the complexities of delivering large sculptural works.
Public Art Commissioning for Community Groups, Small Business and Professionals - Tuesday 18 November (6.30pm to 8.30pm)
In this workshop, businesses, organisations, schools, and community groups interested in commissioning public art will learn how to effectively engage creatives and navigate the commissioning process.
Participants will gain insights on moving from initial ideas to project completion, their role and responsibilities as a commissioner, and available resources through local councils and online platforms to support the journey.
This series in delivered in partnership with: Wyndham City, Cardinia Shire, City of Greater Dandenong, City of Monash, Maroondah City, Manningham, Mitchell Shire, Mount Alexander Shire, Northern Grampians Shire, and Yarra Ranges.
