Privacy Collection Statement

Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council for the purpose of administering your expression of interest application for LIT 2026. Your information will be stored in Council’s customer database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for delivery of services and information. By registering your details, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Your information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). By submitting an expression of interest (‘EOI’) to be selected by Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) as the artist to design 8 digital art pieces for display at LIT 2026 (‘project’), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with other documents and information relating to the project, including your EOI form and the information made available on Council’s website.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

    To be eligible to submit an EOI, you must be an artist aged 18 years or above and live or work in or otherwise have a connection to Wyndham.  Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members are ineligible to apply.

  2. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

    2.1 EOIs must be submitted between 9:00am on 10 November 2025 and 11:59pm on 23 November 2025 via Council’s website at insert link.  EOIs which are incomplete or received outside of this period will not be accepted.

    2.2 You agree to immediately notify Council of any changes to your EOI, including the request to withdraw your EOI by emailing [Chantal.wynter@wyndham.vic.gov.au]. 

    2.3 Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt EOIs.
     
  3. ASSESSMENT OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

    3.1EOIs will be assessed by Council officers on 26 November 2025 in accordance with the assessment criteria published on Council’s website.  Up to 6 applicants will be shortlisted and invited to prepare and submit a design brief and one design associated with the brief to Council.

    3.2 Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by Council by 5:30pm on 26 November 2025 and required to submit their brief and design no later than 5:30pm on 14 December 2025.  Subject to submitting a valid tax invoice to Council, shortlisted applicants will be paid $500 (excl. GST) for preparing their brief and design.

    3.3 On 6 December 2025, Council officers will select one applicant from those shortlisted as the successful applicant to participate in the project.  The successful applicant will be contacted by 5:30pm on 14 December 2025 
  4. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

    The successful applicant will be engaged by Council to participate in the project and will be required to enter into an agreement with Council and comply with its terms and conditions.

  5. NO RELATIONSHIP

    Nothing in these terms and conditions or in the conduct of Council and you creates a relationship of agency, partnership, employer and employee or joint venture between you and Council.

  6. GENERAL

    6.1Council reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time and without notice to you.

    6.2 Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
