Join us as we slow down, notice the little things, and connect with the natural world. Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature, no art experience necessary. During this session we will explore local native flora and fauna as we spend time in nature and explore what Wyndham has to offer.
For this session we will visit the riparian riverside reserve at Cobbledicks Ford, named after the bluestone ford that was built by early settlers. This 24 hectare nature reserve is rich in both Aboriginal and European history, and is now managed for its conservation values. Home to beautiful old River Redgums and the endemic Werribee Bluebox trees, this reserve is a thriving hive of bird activity with the sound of the Werribee River flowing in the background.
*No experience necessary to take part in this workshop. Join us to learn the the basics of nature journaling and to start your nature connection practice.
