Have you got unwanted items cluttering your home, like old televisions, clothing, good quality furniture or bulky cardboard? 

Wyndham City's Pop Up Donation and Recycling Day is here to make decluttering easy for you!

We are partnering with four donation organisations to accept items for donation - West Welcome Wagon, SCR Group, Wyndham Park Community Shed and Big Group Hug! Most items for donation will be distributed locally in Melbourne to help communities that need it most.

Forget the heavy lifting - stay in your car, and we'll take care of the rest. 

Accepted items for donation: Must be in good, clean, working condition. Go to donation partner website for full list.

West Welcome Wagon

  • TV's with remotes
  • Heaters and Fans
  • Kitchen Items (Toasters, Kettles, Microwaves, Rice Cookers, Cutlery, Crockery, Containers)
  • Bedding & Linen (Pillows, Doonas, Blankets, Sheet Sets)
  • Other Household Items  (eg. Bed bases/Mattresses, Vacuum cleaners, Tables, Chair Sets of 4+, Bedside tables)

SCR Group

  • Toys
  • Clothing, shoes and accessories (bags, scarves, jewellery, belts etc)
  • Bric-a-Brac

Wyndham Park Community Shed

  • Bicycles
  • Tools and items listed here

Big Group Hug

  • Prams, Cots, High Chairs, Carseats + more
  • Donation guidelines and other baby items listed here
     

Accepted items for recycling: 

  • Soft Plastics - (plastics bags, biscuit and snack wrappers, chip packets, pasta bags, rice bags, bread bags, cling wrap, bubble wrap, pet food bags, potting mix bags, fresh and frozen food and veggie wrapper/bags, cereal box liners, zip lock bags) SOFT PLASTICS will be recycled at APR group!
  • Broken Electronics / E-Waste
  • BBQs/Old pots and pans/ Scrap Metal
  • Broken Bicycles
  • Bulky Cardboard

Items accepted for recycling will be turned into new products.  If your items are in good condition and are not accepted in our donation drive, consider sharing the love and donate them to friends or another local charity.

Items NOT accepted: If your item is not listed above, It may not be accepted. Use our online waste guide for more disposal options or email wastewise@wyndham.vic.gov.au to find out. 

Please note: This event is only for Wyndham City residents, Commercial quantities are not accepted and bookings are required.
