Important note about council-managed community centres

  • Applications for hire in 2026 are currently paused  
  • Applications for casual hire in 2027 are not being accepted at this time
  • Applications for regular hire in 2027 must be submitted via the process outlined at EOI for 2027 Regular Hire 
  • Applications will re-open after the EOI for 2027 Regular Hire has concluded 

Community Centres and Halls are places where the community can connect and participate in many types of activities and programs. They are suitable for events, programs, meetings, exhibitions, recreational programs, training, seminars, and consultations. 

Community Centres and Halls can be:

  • Council managed via a centralised booking system  
  • Community managed where an independent organisation manages the bookings of the centre
