How to create an account

This article explains how to create an account in our online services portal. This is for customers who want to apply for a permit, certificate or registration.

Before you start

You will need:

  • an email address that you can access
  • if registering an organisation, your ABN.

Steps

  1. Navigate to our online portal registration page.
  2. Click on the link ‘Don’t have an account?’
  3. Select ‘Register using email’.
  4. Enter your details. Your password must be eight characters long and contain one uppercase letter and one number.
  5. We’ll send you an email to verify your account.
  6. Follow the instructions in your email.
  7. Sign in to your account.

Hints and tips

  • Your password must contain one uppercase letter and one number.
  • If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you should use a work email address. You can have one email address per account.
  • If you don't receive a conformation email, this may be because:
    • the email has been sent to your spam or junk folder
    • emails are blocked by your firewall. Ask your IT team to whitelist emails from @wyndham.vic.gov.au
  • Your property reference number and assessment number are on your rates notice. You can create an account without these details, but you won’t be able to see your property or rates balance.
