How to see your rates balance

This article explains how to view your outstanding rates and charges. This is for customers who own rateable property in the Wyndham local government area.

Before you start

You’ll need:

  • an account in our online service platform
  • if you want to pay your rates, a credit card.

Steps

  1. Sign in to our online service portal, or follow the steps to create an account if you haven’t signed in before.
  2. Click or tap on ‘My Account’
  3. Click or tap on ‘Outstanding Transactions’. Your outstanding rates and charges will appear in the list.
  4. To view more detail, click on the item. If you are on mobile, click on the button with three dots, then select the option 'View'.
  5. To pay your outstanding rates and charges, click or tap on the button labelled ‘Pay now’. 
  6. Enter your credit card details in the payment gateway.
  7. Wait for confirmation that your payment has been successful.

Hints and tips

  • If you are creating an account for the first time, you will need to wait for your account to be linked to your property or applications. This can take a couple of days.
  • If you navigate back from the payment gateway to the account window without making a payment, your item may have a ‘payment processing’ indicator. You will not be able to pay this item until the status updates. This can take a few hours. Please try again later.
