The project will completely rebuild the 2.8-kilometre section of K Road between Duncans Road and K Road Cliff, with sealed shoulders. Work will also include an upgraded intersection at Main Drive.

Wyndham City is undertaking a $10.5 million upgrade of the Tarneit Road and Leakes Road intersection.

The Dohertys Road duplication involves expanding Dohertys Road to two lanes in each direction between Tarneit Road and Sapling Boulevard, two traffic light upgrades and more.

Leakes Road is being duplicated to provide two lanes in each direction between Tarneit Road and Derrimut Road, supported by new traffic lights and other enhancements.
