Park Lounge returns to Werribee, brighter than ever: So should you!
Get ready to shine at Park Lounge this summer – a mini Midsumma in Melbourne’s west with amazing musical acts and live performances on stage.
Enjoy an unforgettable evening of glitter, glamour and good vibes at this free celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture, creativity and community hosted by Wyndham City.
Step into a dazzling world of music, dance, and magic with a stellar line-up of LGBTQIA+ artists and their fabulous allies. From soulful ballads to high-energy drag, poetic performances to heart-pounding beats, the stage will sparkle with talent and fierce self-expression all night long. Whether you're a dancefloor devotee or a laid-back listener, there’s something to stir every soul.
Get ready for an unforgettable night hosted by the fabulous Lazy Susan, with show-stopping performances from DJ Gay Dad, Wild Gloriosa, Harper Bloom, Arcoiris Queer Latin Group, Alice Skye, Dandrogyny, and Kevin Silvester—topped off with a spectacular headline set by the amazing JUDE YORK!
Everyone is invited to enjoy the fun and dance the night away in an inclusive and welcoming space.

Park Lounge is a free event run by Wyndham City Council. A ticket is not required for this event.
Getting There
This event is being held at Kelly Park, corner Cherry Street & Synnot Street, Werribee.
Parking
- Cherry Street: Free parking is available on weekends at the Cherry Street Car Park. There will be traffic controllers assisting attendees to cross over from Cherry Street Car Park to the event site at Kelly Park.
- Riverbank Car Park - Comben Drive: Free parking is available on weekends at the Riverbank Car Park. Access is via Comben Drive.
- Hunter Car Park (Holiday Inn): Free 3-hour parking and a $5 flat rate fee applies for parking longer than 3 hours. Entry is via Synnot Street or Rushford Lane.
- Werribee Station: Free parking is available at the Werribee Station located on Manly Street. Its approximately a 7-minute walk to the event site at Kelly Park.
- Accessible Parking: Accessible Parking is available in Werribee CBD, with the closest accessible parks also at Cherry Street Car Park, Watton Street and Riverbank Car Park on Comben Drive.

Public Transport
The event is also walking distance (approx. 7 mins) from Werribee Train Station and the bus station on Manly St.

Event Activities & Program
This year’s program will feature an incredible line up of LGBTQIA+ artists and allies including:

Dancing is encouraged, and everyone is welcome!
Please note that performances can feature mature themes and strong language.
Wyndham City departments and local businesses will also run some interactive activities and provide service information and advice for both children and adults at the event.
The popular clothing swap will return, presented by the Ballarat Trans & Gender Diverse Swap Shop with many new outfits swapped or donated.

Accessibility Information
- Accessible Parking is available in Werribee CBD, with the closest accessible parks also at Cherry Street Car Park, Watton Street and Riverbank Car Park on Comben Drive.
- Auslan interpretation will be included on the main stage.
- Accessible toilets are located at various locations – please check the event map for details. There are no toilets with a hoist or shower facilities onsite.
- Kelly Park is a small park located in Werribee City Centre. Please note that the event area is grassed with some bark areas. The event site is accessible by footpaths.
- A Sensory Space is provided at the event to provide a quiet space for people to self-regulate and assist with reducing sensory input. The space will be in a quieter area of the event and will feature comfortable furniture and sensory tools. Please check the event map for details.
- Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative – this event supports this initiative. Trained staff members will be wearing a Sunflower Badge. Wyndham Residents can pick up one free Sunflower product from any Wyndham City Council Library.
- Social Story - a downloadable Social Story will be provided on this page closer to the event. The Social Story helps people to prepare for what to expect when attending this event. There will also be some printed copies available to collect from the Sensory Space.
- Event Staff are identified by wearing pink high-visibility vests. If you need assistance or require further information, please see a member of our team.

Food & Drink
You are welcome to BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks. There will be some food available for purchase onsite. We would also encourage you to dine in at one of the many local restaurants in Werribee City Centre before attending the event.
A licensed bar will operate during Park Lounge. Alcohol will be available for sale to attendees aged 18 and over and must be consumed within the licensed area – photo ID is required. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
FAQS
Lost Children/ Child Safety
Please ensure you supervise your children at all times. For added safety, you can collect an ID wristband for your child at the entry point, allowing event staff to assist if you become separated.
Pets
Pet dogs are welcome! Please ensure your dog is always supervised and remains on a lead. Please clean up after your dog.
Toilets
All gender toilets including accessible toilets will be in the event
Baby nappy changing
Accessible toilets also be equipped with change tables. Hand Wash Stations are available.
Water
A water fountain will be onsite for patrons to fill up their own water bottles. Water can be purchased from food vendors. You can also BYO water.
Weather
Please come prepared for all weather. If we determine the weather is extreme the events may be cancelled for safety. We will endeavour to communicate any cancellation via Wyndham City’s social media pages.
What to Bring
We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, picnic rug and jacket for inclement weather. Sunscreen will be available onsite.
Seating
There will be some furniture for seating at the event. You are welcome to bring your own chair. Shelter structures will not be permitted.

Photography & Filming
By entering the event, attendees confirm their awareness that photography/video may be taking place, and their image may be captured and used by Wyndham City Council including printed publications, website, social media and may be shared with media and tourism bodies in promotion of Council activities.
Wyndham City Council uses consent forms to obtain consent for close up imagery of adults and children, however, please note crowd photography and filming may be taking place.
If you DO NOT want your photo or your child’s photo taken, please talk to the photographer/videographer or a Council staff member.
