Wyndham City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake implementation of the Levittown Rise Incinerator – Desing and Construction Project located at 23 Cranbrook Way, Werribee, VIC 3030.
The Levittown Rise Incinerator project proposes to retain and restore the former incinerator structure, working to reinstate an iconic landmark of the local area. This project aims to transform the structure into a striking feature for the park, incorporating lighting and a viewing platform for views across to the You Yangs.
The scope of works includes, in accordance with Part 4 Specifications and attachments, the full design and construction of the following work portions:
- Remedial works to existing Incinerator structure,
- Viewing structure,
- Lighting,
- Landscaping.
Including but not limited to:
- Design. Coordinated documentation is required for Works Portions A-D outlined below. Including client meetings / approvals, full remedial scope, construction drawings and specifications, shop drawings, engineering certification etc, as required.
- Management of sub-consultants and sub-contractors.
- Further investigations as required.
- Relevant Authority applications, approvals and permits. E.g. planning and building.
- Compliance with all relevant Australian Standards, codes and regulations.
- Site preliminaries.
- Construction of Works Portions A-D: Remedial Works, Viewing Platform, Lighting and Landscaping.
- Site demobilisation and making good.
- Establishment and Maintenance Period, including initial 13-week intensive establishment period.
- 12 Months Defects and Liability Period - from date of Practical Completion.
The successful Contractor will be required to deliver the project in accordance with the approved specifications, appendices and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
All submissions must be electronically submitted trough Council’s Tender Link e-tendering Portal, no later than 12pm noon, on Monday 23 November 2026 (AEDT). Noting late or e-mailed tender submissions will not be accepted and the lowest priced submission will not necessarily be the awarded bid.
