A visit to Werribee Library is the perfect way to spend a spring afternoon. Browse the shelves, pick up a new holiday read and join one of the free school holiday activities on offer.

This year's program includes ballet storytelling and movement sessions with a member of The Australian Ballet, as well as creative craft workshops. Bookings essential. 

Treat Time for the Whole Family

No school holiday adventure is complete without a sweet treat!  And Werribee City Centre is becoming famous for some of it’s iconic dessert offerings. 

Pick up donut fries or colourful dot cakes from Baby J's, try the viral cheesecake at Karomi, or sample specialty pastries and giant macarons from new kid on the block, Teddy's Bakehouse. If you prefer a classic ice cream stop, Cold Rock and Augustus Gelatery are always crowd pleasers. 

Calling All Young Nature Explorers

On Thursday 24 September, join NatureWest for a guided birdwatching adventure through Wyndham Park.

Children will create their own bird identification cards before heading off to spot some of the local bird species that call the park and Werribee River home. With plenty of wildlife and nature to discover, every walk is different.

The session is best suited to children aged 5 to 10 years and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Learn more.
