Get ready to experience the energy and excitement of drumming with Rod Pilois (Beatfactor) previewing new works from his upcoming EP CD ’Cajon Blue’, followed by a fun and interactive drum workshop. His new works has various musical influences from Rock, Jazz, Latin to Reggae.

The workshop is very accessible and is learned on percussion instruments which are easy to hold and play. The workshop would consist of a selection of lightweight to medium size percussion instruments.

Rod is a qualified music educator, percussion specialist and seasoned performer. He has played with several artists from various musical styles at major venues, events and festivals.

Beatfactor is a true powerhouse of drumming, from performances at festivals, leading weekly workshops in the Western region, to its much loved Samba Drum workshops program in schools, communities, festivals and business organizations.

Join Rod for a captivating performance and workshop where you’ll be taken from musical enjoyment of his new works to learning rhythmic patterns and ensemble playing skills in the workshop.
