Running weekly for 6 weeks, this workshop series will help you find funding, connect to support services and meet others who can show you where to find great local support.

Beginning Thursday the 23rd of April,  from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm, each session covers a different topic with a break for lunch and a cup of tea midway.

Session topics include:

  1. Find local supports and service providers
  2. Find funding and financial support that suits your situation
  3. Navigating life, work, travel and sport
  4. Planning for emergencies and when things go wrong
  5. Dealing with grief and how our situations can impact relationships
  6. Self advocacy and connecting to community support

The workshops are free, thanks to both the NDIA's Peer Support and Capacity Building grant and the Wyndham City Council. For anyone who is new to disability or chronic health, plus their families and those who work in the sector.

Facilitated by people with lived experience it is a chance for you to connect with people who get it.
