Wyndham City is pleased to welcome INSA to Werribee for a special artist talk at Wyndham Cultural Centre this October.

UK-based artist INSA is known globally for his innovative and technically complex art installations, with a practice spanning large-scale public artworks, digital media, design and commercial projects. In 2010, he pioneered GIF-ITI, a meticulous process of repeatedly repainting and photographing murals to create animated GIFs, later integrating augmented reality to bring these works back into the physical environment. His work explores time, space, consumption and transience, with GIF-ITI remaining a defining element of his practice.

Join INSA in conversation for an insight into his creative journey and the ideas, techniques and experiences that have shaped his practice. Hear about his work across street art, large-scale public artworks, digital media and design, and discover how he has developed an internationally recognised creative practice.

This is an opportunity to hear directly from an established international artist and gain insights into contemporary art, creative careers and developing your own creative practice.

This event is designed for creatives in Wyndham, including artists, designers, illustrators, photographers, animators and people working across creative and cultural industries

You don't need to be an artist to attend. Anyone interested in contemporary or urban art, digital creativity or creative careers is welcome.
