Come and try your hand at the basics of wheel throwing ceramics in a friendly environment. Students will learn about key wheel throwing techniques as they begin to create their very own masterpieces.

This short course is a pre-requisite, introducing students to the fundamental techniques and skills associated with the medium of clay.

This course teaches important foundation skills needed for our longer term-based creative ceramics classes at the Shed. Basic Materials are included, including clay, glazes and kiln firing.

(Note this course does not cover hand building, which is offered in a different intro/taster course.)
