Renewing your registration
You will pay a yearly renewal fee for your business registration. We will send you a notice of your registration renewal about six weeks before the due date.
Your registration will be renewed once you have passed your renewal inspection and paid the renewal fee.
If you do not pass the inspection and fail to fix the issues we identified, you could be charged an extra fee.
Making changes to your food business
Changing your menu or food items
If you are planning on changing the type of food you want to make, you may need to change your business class as well.
Learn more about food business classes at the Department of Health website.
Changing your kitchen or premises
If you are planning on renovating or changing the structure of your kitchen, you will need to have your kitchen reinspected.
We suggest you talk to our environmental health officers before you begin making changes, as they will be able to help you make sure your changes are suitable.
Once you have completed your update, you will need to book an inspection.
You can lodge the form by emailing it to mail@wyndham.vic.gov.au.
Closing or selling your food business
If your food business has closed or you have sold your business, you will need to cancel your registration.
You cannot transfer your registration to someone else. The new owner will need to apply for a new registration.
