Wyndham City's Pop Up Recycling and Donation Day is here to make decluttering easy for you!

We are partnering with three donation organisations to accept items for donation - Western Emergency Relief Network, SCRGroup & Reclink.  Most items for donation will be distributed locally in Melbourne to help communities that need it most.

Items accepted for recycling will be taken and turned into new products.

Forget the heavy lifting - stay in your car, and we'll take care of the rest. 

Accepted items for donation: Must be in good, clean, working condition. Go to donation partner website for full list.

Western Emergency Relief Network 

• Essential kitchen items (Toasters, Kettles, Microwaves, Rice Cookers, Cutlery, Crockery)
• Blankets & linen (Sheet Sets, Covers)
• Other essential indoor household furniture (eg. Bed bases/mattresses, tables, chair sets of 4+, bedside tables, rugs)
• Essential household electronics (eg. Vacuum cleaners, TV's with remotes, heaters and fans)

SCR Group

• Clothing, shoes and accessories (bags, scarves, jewellery, belts etc)

Reclink

• Bicycles
• All sporting equipment (racquets, goals, bats, balls, footy boots + more)
   

Accepted items for recycling: 

• Broken Electronics / E-Waste
• Scrap Metal (Broken Bicycles, BBQs, Old pots and pans, broken metal chairs)
• Bulky Cardboard

Items accepted for recycling will be turned into new products.  If your items are in good condition and are not accepted in our donation drive, consider sharing the love and donate them to friends or another local charity.

If your item is not listed above, It may not be accepted. Use our online waste guide for more disposal options or email wastewise@wyndham.vic.gov.au to find out. 

Items NOT accepted: 

• Toys
• Baby and Children's items like highchairs, car seats, cots etc
• Books, magazines
• Luggage, bags and backpacks
• Non essential household items - Household decorations (Vases, artwork, pictures, figurines, statues)
• Used pillows and doonas
• Chemicals
• Broken white goods or large/heavy electronics (Take to the Refuse Disposal Facility for FREE or use a Hard Waste Collection)
• Dirty or broken mattresses (Use a FREE Hard Waste Collection or take to Refuse Disposal Facility)
• Broken furniture (Use a FREE Hard Waste Collection or take to Refuse Disposal Facility)
• Polystyrene/Foam/Thermocol (Bag it and place in your rubbish bin (red lid) or use a FREE Hard Waste Collection)
• Building and construction waste
• Solar Panels

• This event is only for Wyndham City residents
• Commercial quantities are not accepted
• Bookings are required, book now to make sure you don't miss out!
