We are hosting a 'Kindergarten Countdown Event' on Friday the 2nd of October 2026.

We are inviting all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families enrolled into kindergarten for 2027 to come along and gain resources to support children in the preparation for kindergarten. The event is FREE, and all children will be provided with Kindergarten essentials packs - backpacks, hats, lunch boxes.

There will be opportunities for families to engage with local Council enrolment teams, Services Australia for support with CCS, some of our local ACCOS - VACCA, Aboriginal Wellness and Koling Wada Ngal will also be there, Maternal Child and Health will be onsite to answer any questions regarding health checks, we are also lucky to be joined by Yarn Strong Sista.
